The Horizon Shootout is official the dates are the 25th-27th of September. We will have Adam Drake, Mike Truhe, Billy Fischer, and with Scotty Ernst as race director.
This is going to be another great year with the Horizon Shoot out. We will post the entry form on June 1st. We will start taking entries after the entry form is posted. Class info coming soon.

I'm assuming practice on Friday, Quals Saturday, and Mains Sunday like last year?

We hope to make some progress on the race details this weekend. More info to follow. I know this race will be awesome. I have a feeling it will fill up as fast as the Nats is filling up. That would be cool.

Just reminding everyone that we will open up the registration for the Shootout on the 1st of June 2009. As many drivers that have called me already to sign up I think that the spots will fill fast starting on the 1st.

Randy no spot will be filled till payment is made. We will be posting a sign up flyier and they can be mailed in to me, or you can call in with your credit card info to hold your spot. Either way want to make sure that everyone that is signed up has paid. Thanks and we can't wait.

Is the oval being run again this year? I am getting a Leight and want to run it. I don't run offroad anymore. My boy Tyler is running buggy and truggy. We will make it over to club race very soon. My work schedule is pretty busy on the weekends right now.

Randy, We will not be running the Oval this year for the Horizon Shootout. We want to make sure since we have raised the total to 200 that we run all the quals on Saturday and the Mains on Sunday. That way everyone can get out of here early on Sunday to make the trip home. We might even run some of the lower mains on Saturday night as well. Thanks |
