Hello all once again.

It appears that the Hobby Shop is going to be closed a few more days as Donnie is still not able to make it in to work.
Please stay tuned to this forum and I will provide information as it becomes available.
I have no information as to the status of racing this coming Sunday, February 5th.
I will post information as soon as it becomes available as well.

Thanks,
Jim

Hello again everyone.

Big D gave me a call tonight, and I must say he sounded good.  He has had some sort of stroke, but seems to be doing well all things considered.
He is currently in the VA hospital in Indy, and is not sure when they will let him out.  He assured me that he is NOT giving his nurses a hard time. (Yeah Right!  LOL).  Anyway, he is still having some vision trouble (seing double), and some issues with equilibrium.  He asked me to tell everyone hello, and to say thank you to everyone for your support and prayers!

Looks like for now, the Hobby Shop will stay closed for the remainder of this week.  A decison about racing on Sunday will be made later this week, and I will be sure to post once it has been decided.

Thanks to all for your support and understanding.

Jim

Just read this!! Glad to hear big D is doing good. Stopped by the shop the other day to see what was up but im guessing this was the reason it was closed. I will stop by and see ya when you get back big D.

Donnie, you take it easy till you get back on your feet. Let me know if you need any help with anything. Im pretty free now that all the house remodeling is done. Let me know if you need anything big guy.
Thanks for the updates Jim, I hadnt heard this till i looked on here.

Just to let everyone know that I am back.  Not suppose to be, but I am here.  The shop hours will be the same.  The only differance is that on non scheduled Points Races the shop will be closed.  Thanks for all your prayers and worries for me.  If you don't know I had a double Stroke in the back of my head.  They think that it came froma hole in the back of my heart.  All is good I have some Vision and movement problems.  Thats OK the docs said they can fix that as well in time.  OK Racing this Sunday and I hope everyone is ready for the points Race.  We will make up the missed race at the end of the Series.  Again thanks for everyone checking on me and for the ones that got a chance to visit.  Thanks and see ya all soon.  When I see you there will be two of ya.  I crack myself up.

Good to hear big guy. Sounds like with your double vision you will have the eight wheels you always say is better to have when driving. lol maybe, just maybe you will drive a straight line now. NAHHHH!  lol
Let me know if you need help with anything at the shop or anything. I will probably swing by on my next days off and see whats going on.
Take it easy!!!

Glad to hear you are doing better Donnie and it was great seeing you.  I just wish we could have hung out under better circumstances.  On the bright side of double vision if you go to a strip club that means you get to see double the boobies!
