I just wanted to comment on the new race day schedule and rules. Feel free to join in. I personally like what Donnie has done to speed up the class schedules. I also can not see any other way to make the day quicker without compromising quality and making transition times or repair times suffer. With all classes running and even including a couple of B mains, we should be done by 5 every Sunday. Those of you who felt these changes needed to happen for YOU to be happy need to show up now to participate!

I MUST SAY SORRY I MISS IT SAT NIGHT I STARTED FELLING SICK AND STILL NOT WELL. HOPE THAT THE NEW CHANGES WILL BRING MORE CARS  TO THE TRACK.

Thanks Guys.  That was nice of you both.  I agree that we have more oval drivers that are only running 1 or maybe 2 classes and then only in the Oval part of the race day.

We will be running the Oval portion of the Race Day first.

I will do the same thing from now on that we did yesterday.  It was a suggestion from Mike I think, when the heat sheets are printed out I will assign the marshals to the right.  What this does is help move the marshals to there place right away.  This also helps when a person is running more than one class we get a marshal for his or her spot.  That also allows me to move drivers that are running back to back to move then to a different part of the race event to help with marshalling.  We did that Sunday, It took a little longer to make the sheets but it made everything move right along.

There is no waiting for anyone, there is a timer on the computer and gives us 3 minutes and the race starts.  There might be a time that we have to add time and that was during the set up for the Road, and Off Road and I only had to add 1 minute.  There was 1 time that we didn't add time.

Sunday went great and I think that everyone had a great time and with 10 Heat Races we were done before 4pm that is 5pm for the Indy Boys and Girls.  That was before 4 with the complete program.

You might want to consider some extra time during the mains.  You add the taking pictures to your routine and I hate to say it, that requires more time then during the heats to swap out vehicles when running back to back...
You were rushing us and if your going to take pictures we need more time.

You were rushing us and if your going to take pictures we need more time.

You are correct on that Kevin and we will add a little time to the mix for the mains.  Good Call, you da man.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be uploading everything in the am tomorrow.  I had a lot of customers in the shop and I was just now able to close.  My bellie is growling and I have to go home and feed it.  Thanks guys I hope everyone had a great day.  I hope that everyone was pleased with the race program and how we are setting everything up?  See ya on the track.
