"No if it was in series then it would double the voltage, in parallel the voltage is the same but the capacity doubles."

I know you are a brilliant guy but look at this   I believe you are backwards.

http://www.scriptasylum.com/rc_speed/lipo.html

In series the voltage stays the same parallel the voltage increases with every cell  added.

Then can you explain how a simple flashlight works?  You take two 1.5 volt batteries put them in end to end and you get how many volts?  How about an auto battery, you have six voltaic chambers of 2 volts each, therefore by your logic it's a 2 volt battery, right?  Most people know that it's a 12 volt battery.

I have a thought.  We can do a mini-physics class on the 8th.  I usually carry a small DVM in my bag and we can arrange several battery configurations for you and check the voltage output to prove your theory that parallel configurations increase the total voltage.

Any interest?  Or do you concede to the real world where series increases voltage?

So lets recap what we have learned from this thread:
1. Most manufactures "C" ratings are bull*hit
2. The most commonly used battery connector(deans) is only rated for 30 amps
3. Parallel doubles the run time and series double the voltage

Let's just cut open your 1 s pack and see if it's one cell or two

You're welcome to use any of my 1 cell packs.

Never said multiple cells  won't double voltage. We were talking about a 1 cell  pack!!!!   2s will double I agree that's  how it becomes 7.4 v.  A 1 s will not double  cause it's one cell!!   Start reading again. From the start. And you'll see where you first told me  a 1 cell pack then said a two cell pack  not that I really care cause this went way farther than ever antipated anyway!  Lmao

I'll be happy to let you do that for a mere $25.00, then it will be yours.

Lets not get snippy.  I have a 1S that is dead I will be more than happy to donate it.  I am curious about what is inside a 1S now.  I know what's in a 2S.  I have smoke a couple of them.  OK Sunday the 8th will be judgement day for the 1 cell Lipos.
