I found a mistake!!! John Barna is listed as the winner of the SC Late model A Main. That can't be the case since John was running a 65c lipo and the rest of us run the rules specified 40c max battery... I personally will consider Holden the winner today...lol. Kudos to Holden for running legal and still nearly beating John!!!

Scott, I talked with John this morning and he assured me that he did not run his 65C battery. When he was in the shop last week I told him that he cold not run the 65C battery that he had and he told me this morning that he didn't even bring it with him.
Also for anyone that thinks that there is a discrepancy with any vehicle on the track, as soon as you think it bring it to the Race Director attention on the spot.

John, I don't want this to turn into a pissing match. I talked to you this morning and that is the end of the accusations I know that I told you could not run your 65C battery and you told me you didn’t and that is the end of it. On race day if anyone wants to challenge the integrity of another driver they can do that by letting me know (The Race Director) and I will solve the issue. Thanks guys.

I had heard about the conversation in regards to your 65c battery. I did take a close look at your battery and considering neither of the two batterys you brought had decals and you told me you were running the same setup you had in the past, I assumed that meant you were still running the 65c battery. I think I can speak for Holden here when I say we have nothing to hide. Our batteries have factory applied decals saying 5000mah/ 40c. Forgive me John, for thinking ALL of us should have "our cards facing up on the table". You, with all these years of expierence should know that if a person appears to be cheating, theres a good chance they are. I dont want to leave feeling "rookied" and thinking ill of you John and I'm sorry for the former accusations. You are a superb driver and a knowlegable mechanic but we all need to be held to the same high standard and have cars with parts that can be easily teched.

Scott, great post and you are right when comes to being on the up and up. John will have his batteries properly marked, and I will take a look at them. I agree that with all the knowledge that we have up on the track or in the shop everyone can learn something every day. My thing is that everyone should have the INTEGRITY to do the right thing. If not bring it to my attention and we will get it solved. Wayne sent an email this moring and ask me some questions that other drivers had concerns about. I am approachable in reguards to anything. Talk to me. If not we will have a suggestion box upstairs or in the shop. I think upstairs because when I am in the shop I could see who is putting in the suggestions. Upstairs is best because I am in the shop in the morning on race day when i get upstairs I have to focus on the computer and the track. Thanks Wayne for the suggestion.
Now again boys this is a done deal and I have the final say. Thanks

I noticed that I had two laps faster than the one posted for 1/12, one was 9.535 and the other was 9.614.

"2 seconds for an android is a lifetime". Paraphrase from STNG First Contact. BTW it is 0.2 seconds but who's counting.
